Several posters recently removed the whole body of their question.
Is there any way to forbid this without removing the ability to edit?

Regards
Michel

My suggestion would be to remove the whole thread.
Very often it doesn't make sense after the original post is gone, and we have enough threads left. Smile

Can you please point me to an example or two?

PS: I thought normal users cannot edit a message after someone replied to it.

http://www.orafaq.com/forum/t/89209/42935/ is an example.
Did not remove that one because of the number of replies, but in retrospect, I think I should have.

Sorry Frank, I can't find the post I had in mind whan I posted this (it is quite hard to find deleted pieces).
One of them was the one posted by Frank.
For another one I had the original message in IE memory and could put back the post content but I can't find the topic now.

Regards
Michel

I see people changing their original post as a reaction to a reply quite often. Mostly they add formatting or try to clear some points
